With the revolutionary MIMIC saddles, Specialized knew they had pushed foam to the limit. Much like alloy and steel gave way to carbon, they knew they had to look beyond foam to deliver on their Body Geometry ethos - improve comfort, increase performance, and reduce the risk of injury. They had to find what’s next, and they did.
Instead of foam, they’re 3D printing with liquid polymer to create a patent-pending matrix of incredible complexity.
With 14,000 struts and 7,799 junctions, Mirror technology allows for infinite tuning of density in a way impossible with foam.
Combined with the flex-tuned FACT Carbon fiber shell, S-Works Power with Mirror distributes pressure for unrivaled comfort and performance.

The S-Works Power with Mirror provides more sit-bone comfort than any other performance saddle Specialized has ever tested. Mirror also protects blood flow and reduces pressure on soft tissue, so it’s comfortable on the nose or tempo riding all day.

To remain light and stable, foam saddles are thin and high density, which can create pressure points under the sit bones. Mirror Technology allows Specialized to create a lightweight, stable pedaling platform that distributes sit-bone pressure over a much larger area, increasing comfort by reducing pressure.
